'품다(Pum-da)’
PUM-DA (2019)
'Pum-da'
1. To put in your arms or to hold in your chest.
2. Having energy.
The tableware was based on the theme of spring and winter with new life following Lee Nuri's trip to the Saebyeol Oreum of Jeju Island in early winter.
She developed three colors that consist of the sceneries: ‘Fog, Winter Forest and Night Rain’.
It is characterized by an atypical form resembling the smooth ridge of the oreum (a hill formed in the aftermath of a volcano).
The bowl that holds something becomes the winter ground for spring, The buds in it stand for new life, and the water stands for the nutrients that sprout life.
